The Executive Department of Research promotes the development of research projects by the teaching staff of the Private University College of Teacher Education Burgenland. The participation in national and international congresses and events, scientific qualification work of colleagues, cooperation with researchers in the Teacher Education Network South-East as well as other Austrian and international tertiary educational institutions are supported.
The department organises specific offers for the further development of research expertise, invites regular exchanges on research and development projects and ensures quality assurance in scientific processes (research applications, feedback procedures and corresponding continuing education programmes).
The Executive Department of Research is also responsible for the regular publication of the journal phpublico and for the organisation of the annual research day to promote the exchange of ideas on research between teaching staff from all departments and to establish a broad research culture.
